Windows we install
Our limited lifetime window warranty
For as long as you, the original buyer, own your home. Here it is in plain words, with the full warranty to read before you buy.
What it covers
Installation workmanship
If our installation caused the problem, we adjust, repair or reinstall that part of the work.
Window parts
Manufacturing or material defects in the vinyl, hardware, screens and factory finishes.
Insulated-glass seal
A failed seal that leaves moisture or a film between the panes.
Glass breakage
Every window we sell, except windows with tempered glass and shaped windows.
When a window is covered, we remove and replace it and haul the old one away at no charge. Before covered work starts, we tell you in writing which costs we cover.
What it doesn’t cover
- Problems caused by work or changes done by others, by not following the care instructions, or by misuse, neglect or an accident
- Water or air getting in through the roof, siding, flashing, drainage, foundation or other parts of the house we didn’t work on
- Fire, flood, severe weather, hail, windborne debris and vandalism
- Normal wear and weathering, including fading and color differences in replacement parts
- Condensation from indoor humidity (on its own, it isn’t a defect)
- Caulk, sealants or accessories that didn’t come with the window
The window makers’ own written warranties still apply, and this warranty doesn’t change them.
This warranty covers windows. Our patio and entry doors come with their manufacturer’s warranty instead.
How to ask for warranty service
Call, text or email us as soon as you notice a problem. Send your name, your address, the install date or invoice number, what’s wrong and photos if you can.
We may come and look first. Please don’t remove or throw away the part before we or the manufacturer have seen it, unless you need to stop more damage.
